COVID 19, an offsite location and extra resources because the defense repeatedly delayed the Mark Dare trial
If you have followed my coverage on alleged molestor Mark Dare's case, you know all about the delays caused by defense.
Now because of Dare and his attorney delays, the media and public are being penalized by limited seating and an offsite location. With limited access to only 10 people, I am counting on Judge Kaleb Cockrum to make sure that the DA, victim witness, alleged victims and their supporters as well as defendant and his supporters don't take advantage of this arrangement.
Courthouse security is already operating with the bare minimum staff and one security guard is now at the Eureka Veterans Memorial Hall. HCSO deputies are also there.
COVID 19 has already added extra work for courts and HCSO and this trial is adding to taxed resources.
