Bench warrants were issued for Rob Christensen at the last court hearing. He had 8 cases on calendar this morning. More bench warrants were issued today by Judge Canning but held until October 27, which is the date Christensen was given for arraignment on October 27.
One bench warrant is for $25,000; one for $10,000 and five for $5,000.
Deputy Public Defender Adrian Kamada is Christensen's attorney. He attempted to reach Christensen and was unable to do so. Deputy District Attorney Luke Bernthal asked Judge Canning if Christensen was ordered to personally appear as he was instructed to do today. Judge Canning said, yes.
Judge Cockrum at the last hearing said Christensen's custody status needed to be addressed today.
