EPD will have their hands full today and at least one patrol vehicle with some damage

About 10 minutes ago, saw EPD pull into the gas station at 4th and R.  I was a few blocks away. By the time I got there, someone was cuffed and in the back of the patrol car.

Took video but it is so noisy in that area that you can't hear anything.

Could not see the person but it sounded like a man cussing and he was banging and kicking inside the car  like crazy. EPD was headed to the jail and the man was still screaming, banging kicking on 4th street.

Crazy dude will be booked, cited and released. Cycle repeat.

"Motherfucker" and other words are just what will convince the tourists to definitely come back to Humboldt. Local businesses, already struggling ,have to deal with unwanted guests. Residents have no peace because the same 20 to 30 people hang out in the same trouble spots.

EPD will have their hands full today. There are several people screaming and acting out in the usual spots around town. This includes a woman camped outside Eureka City Hall on K street. For several minutes, she was yelling at a man. This was about half an hour ago. These "street romances by the day" usually resolve within minutes and hours, when convenience arises and they make up. Unless the guy gets arrested and the woman moves onto the next sucker; I mean boyfriend of the hour/day.

Maybe if she camps out until Monday, Eureka City Council and Code Enforcement may actually do something instead instead of useless PSAs by the Mayor and Code Enforcement ignoring violations unless it is convenient to them. Since this Council has taken over, quality of life in Eureka has deteriorated.
It has nothing to do with PSPS, COVID 19 or wildfires.

You ignore your constituents and businesses. I have to provide them with information. These are the ones working, generating and paying taxes. Your cronies don't count.

On a daily basis, EPD has to deal with issues created by ineffective and corrupt local and state leadership, greed and inequity.
