Was any action taken against this critically injured cow that belonged to Domingo Santos?

I did a post in January 27,2019 about a cow in the highway. It was not Ray Christie's cow. Emailed CHP, never heard back about that inquiry.

I happened to find this other post from 2015. Again, it was not Christie's cow. It belonged to Domingo Santos.

This is why access to e court is necessary for media. I could have checked if Santos has a case. Clerk's office and DA does not provide me direct access or guarantee accuracy of information I cannot see for myself.

If you are not familiar with who Santos is in Humboldt County, google him. He has money, influence and connections. Besides cattles, he owns several properties in Humboldt.

Why is there always an assumption if a cow is found in the highway that it is Christie's? What actions are taken against other people who own cattle and animals in this area and why haven't we heard of other violations? The local environmentalists and certain law enforcement are full of it. Only biased  people would believe that in an area full of ranchers, cattle owners and farmers, the only case that came up for prosecution was Christie's? One small misdemeanor case against Harold Lee Conners does not count.

I have received some tips and information that I am researching and investigating about dead cows in the slough with specifics.

Selective enforcement does happen in this area. Corruption is rampant. Are HCSO, California Fish and Wildlife, CHP equally enforcing the law when it comes to environmental violations, injured and dead cattle and other wildlife?

When you have a small community with generations of people owning land, property and their children and grandchildren involved in busineses, government, law enforcement, non profits, influencing media and community, do you really think justice is possible?

There are so many conflicts of interests in this town, it is a joke.

Hardly anyone speaks up and those who do get targeted and punished. Humboldt needs some regional and national attention from other independent media and watchdog groups.

Regional and national media not solicited by the same locals who are a part of the status quo for decades and like it that way for a reason.
