Child porn, search for suboxone, statute of limitations on murder and child molestation covered in today's testimony

Today's testimony in the Mark Dare trial covered his arrest text messages, videos of child porn, web searches.

Due to motions by both parties, the media and public was not allowed in the courtroom to view the two videos described by a dtective who investigates internet crimes against children as "child porn" and"child erotica".

Later, during cross examination by defense, it was mentioned that one video showed breasts and the other did not show any genitalia.

From the motion in limine, I knew the courtroom would be closed and only the jury would be allowed to view these videos. I don't know if any other sensitive material was shown.

Mark Dare knew about the allegations before he was arrested. He was arrested at work, which is a TV station

There were web searches about life insurance, lethal doses of suboxone, searches for xanax, statute of limitations on murder and child molestation in the forensic analysis of electronics found in the Dare home. Mark Dare texted Windy Dare and asked if life insurance was paid "if someone shoots him or whatever."

All computer identifiers, 7 skype accounts, IP addresses, web searches were from one hard drive and they all had Mark Dare email or accounts associated with them.

Former DA Investigator Martin Perrone, DA Investigator Steve Dunn and Detective Donald Rowberry from the Sacramento Valley Hi-Tech Crimes Task Force testified today.

There were 11,000 text messages on Jane Doe #2's phone. DA Investigator Dunn was unable to find any record of these messages. This was during Investigator Dunn's direct testimony when he was questioned by Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm.
