The evidence against Coleman was weak; is disqualifying Judge Canning revenge by the DA for his two decisions in this case?

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer  has filed a 170.6 to disqualify Judge Timothy Canning, who said evidence was weak at the preliminary hearing against Demetrius Coleman. Charges were dismissed against Coleman's co-defendant Alma Ahumadamendoza after the preliminary hearing. Judge Canning is also the judge who released Ahumadamendoza from custody.

Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Coleman's attorney.

I have received calls, texts and feedback on this case because people know all the parties involved. As the preliminary hearing revealed, there is a lot about this case not investigated by law enforcement.

After being told the evidence was not strong and charges being dismissed against one co-defendant, what does the DA do? Amend the information and now dismiss the Judge because the truth was inconvenient.

A different judge isn't going to make that much of  a difference. Either you have the evidence to convince a jury or you don't.
