Judge Kaleb Cockrum said when the location of where the jury trial for alleged molestor is decided, the media and public would be notified via press release.
I have known about the location since yesterday morning. Not from the attorneys. I walk all over town. I have variety of ways to access information. The information is out there.
I don't know when this press release will be issued. The trial will be held at the Eureka Veterans Hall.
No other media has covered this court case for two years and I have followed it for every hearing.
This trial is not being broadcast on You Tube. It will be broadcast on closed circuit TV. Special access will be required to access that livestream. This is to protect the minors testifying. There are also exhibits and videos that will not be seen by the media or the public.
The alleged victims are Dare's stepdaughters. The defense theory is no secret. The fact that the girs' mother, Windy Dare is a defense witness is no secret.
I have been covering the motions in limine and the 402 hearings but have not posted that information because they haven't picked a jury yet. Even after they pick the jury, I may not post any information.
I wanted to know what evidence was being allowed and if it is relevant during or after the trial, I will share that information.
