Judge Christopher Wilson asked for another report from Probation for murder suspect Pamela Millsap to see if she could be on supervised release with ongoing electronic monitoring.
Today, Judge Wilson authorized electronic monitoring. If she does not have an electronic monitor, Millsap will not get custodial credits.
At the last hearing, Probation recommended Millsap should not be put on supervised release.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Millsap's attorney.
Trial setting is on September 23. Millsap can appear via Zoom or Ms. Van Dyke can appear on her behalf, if she maintains contact with her attorney.
At jury trial, the People intend to present evidence of "John Doe's victimization," said Ms. Timm. Ms. Van Dyke countered by saying John Doe's allegations did not even result in a filing against Millsap and said that Millsap did not have custody of John Doe for all 17 years.
