Jonathon Boone can resolve his attempted murder case or charges will be upgraded to first degree murder

Intervention scheduled for attempted murder suspect Jonathon Boone today was continued to December 5.



Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps who was appearing on behalf of  Boone's attorney told Judge Cockrum that the People  had made on offer and Boone needed some time to mull it over.

Deputy District Carolyn Schaffer said if Boone does not accept the offer on December 5; it will be withdrawn and the People will ask he be held to answer for first degree premeditated murder.

Preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 9. Alleged victim is Matthew Gatlin.
