Jonathon Boone pleads guilty to attempted murder and animal abuse

Jonathon Boone's change of plea was continued to December 11. The offer he accepted was for 8 years, 8 months in prison.
He has four different aliases.

Boone admitted parole violation in one case. For his recent arrest, Boone pleaded guilty to Count 1 attempted murder and the special allegation of use of deadly weapon and Count 3 animal abuse and cruelty. Both these counts are felonies.

Boone stabbed his grandfather and stabbed the dog in the house multiple times. The dog died.

Rest of the counts and special allegations were dismissed.

Sentencing is on January 8. The time on the parole violation and this case is concurrent as it is a stipulated sentence.

Arbuckle waiver entered;time for sentencing waived.

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner is Boone's attorney.
