On the day of his preliminary hearing, attempted murder suspect Jonathan Boone was expected to resolve his case. The change of plea was put over to December 11 since his attorney is out today on emergency medical leave.
The offer Boone is accepting is 8 years, 8 months in prison.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for the case. Wednesday's update will be added to this post.
