Attorney unavailability leads to rescheduling of Opera Alley murder preliminary hearing


Preliminary hearing for murder suspect Connor Whited was scheduled for this morning. Victim is Brett Keiling.

Whited is charged with the murder of Keiling and a special allegation that he used a deadly weapon; a club.

Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is out on medical leave. Her colleague,Mr. Owen Tipps appeared on her behalfin court today and requested a continuance until this morning. Deputy District Attorney Adrian Kamada is the prosecutor for this case.
