Ray Christie jury is hopelessly deadlocked on the four felony counts and 10 of the misdemeanor counts. Of the remaining 28 misdemeanor counts, there were three not guilty votes.
The jury foreperson told Judge Christopher Wilson that ballots in the deadlocked counts were 11-1, 10-2 and others were closer.
Christie is charged with four felony counts of animal cruelty and 38 misdemeanor counts of littering within 150 feet of state waters.
Retrial on felony counts and retrial of 10 misdemeanor. Sentencing to trail. Jury trial on February 10; trial confirmation is January 21.
Time not waived, however could change after Christie talks to Mr. John Cogorno.
