Two time sex offender Justin Strauhal resolves second case with a plea



Change of plea is going through this morning for convicted sex offender Justin Strauhal.  His 2018 arrest includes 9 counts with a special allegation for Count 9.

Incidents with two alleged victims include sex acts on mom's bed and at aunt's house.

Records had been subpoenaed from UCSF Benioff Children's hospital.

The prosecutor for this case is Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer. Deputy DA Stacey Eads appeared in court. Strauhal's attorney is Deputy Public Defender David Celli.

Strauhal is filling out the plea form now. Strauhal entered a Plea to counts  8& 9 with Harvey reservation for rest. 16 years in prison. He waived his right to appeal.

Sentencing is July 31.

Ms. Schaffer is the prosecutor who resolved Andrew Cunningham's case with  20 year stipulated prison sentence and Cunningham waived his right to appeal.
