I was told EPD Officer Pat Bishop got fired "two or three days after the Sacramento Bee story came out." I have reached out to EPD Chief Steve Watson.
"Officer Bishop voluntarily left employment with the City/EPD months ago (around early Fall 2020 I believe) for another job," said Chief Watson." He temporarily stayed on as an occasional Reserve Officer to maintain POST peace officer certification. He is no longer a Reserve Officer with EPD as his services are no longer needed."
