No suspects or witnesses near scene of hit and run on 5th Street
On November 29, 2019 at about 12:28 a.m., an officer with the Eureka Police Department was on patrol when he located a male pedestrian laying in the street near the intersection of 5th and S Streets.
The male was unconscious and had significant injuries consistent with a collision with a vehicle. The male (51 of Eureka) was transported to the hospital and is currently in serious but stable condition.
No suspects or witnesses were located at or near the scene. This is being investigated as a hit and run collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Corrie Watson at cwatson@ci.eureka.ca.gov or (707) 441-4032.
