With convicted felon Robert Cullen out of custody, a motion to continue was filed by defense

Convicted felon Robert Cullen  bailed out recently. He was able to get a bond from Sacramento and pay for a private ankle monitor.

Cullen appeared on Zoom today, sitting next to his attorney, Mr. Michael Acosta. District Attorney Maggie Fleming appeared on the case for the People.

Mr. Acosta told Judge Timothy Canning that he had filed a motion to continue but still needed "to serve Ms. Fleming." The motion was calendared for tomorrow but the Court had not received it so Mr. Acosta will file an amended motion to be heard at trial assignment on September 4. Jury trial is scheduled for September 8.

Cullen has a 2019 case and two 2017 VOP cases. In his most recent case, Cullen is charged with 14 counts.
