Murder suspect Ryan Tanner had a hearing on May 3. The May 17 jury trial was vacated and dates were reset. Defense described the case as a "tour de force" and "three ring circus."
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for this case. She will be out of the office in mid-September.
Mr. Russ Clanton is Tanner's attorney. Mr. Clanton is currently scheduled to start another trial which is #4 and "trailing" but an offer was made in that case. Setting future dates for Tanner depended on that case, other cases and Mr. Clanton's schedule.
Time is waived. Trial confirmation is on June 14; jury trial is on June 28.
