Preliminary hearing was scheduled on October 7 for Chong Her. It was rescheduled for November 4.
Waited around all morning for the case to be called. Interpreter was not there. Then livestream was muted for an "off the record discussion" and court is not in session. Defense wanted to talk to Her.
Deputy District Attorney Shelly Small is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian is Her's attorney.
He is is charged with PC 459 burglary, PC 664/207(a) kidnapping, PC 273.5 (a), corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant and PC 136.1 (c) (1), falsifying evidence, and bribing, influencing, intimidating or threatening witnesses.
