The Eureka City Council candidates are optimistic despite the lack of signs or interest in Eureka elections

Tamar Shirley does not count because he is MIA. There are lack of signs, barely any comments, and most people talking about the national election.

Right now COVID 19, survival, economy and a roof over one's head is what most people care about;  people I have talked with about City of Eureka council candidates feel that regardless of who is elected; it won't make any difference. As for name recognition, except among their small clique, the question I got asked was who is that?

I checked with City Clerk Pam Powell  again, today. So far, no one has notified her that they are withdrawing or dropping out.
