Dates reset in Richard French's case, he did not rant in court

 

Richard French is still in custody. He had been previously found not competent to stand trial.

I was not following his case since his confirmation to the State Hospital kept getting continued. Since my last post, criminal proceedings were reinstated. 

Today,  previously set dates for his case were vacated. Trial confirmation was rescheduled for February 9; jury trial for March 1.

Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin still intends to pursue mental health diversion.
