Setting of jury trial was scheduled for convicted human trafficker David Anderson this morning.
Anderson's attorney, Mr. Michael Acosta failed to appear at trial assignment and was a no show,again, at the hearing which was continued to the afternoon. He appeared via Zoom today. Anderson pulled his time waiver.
"We would entertain any offers to settle," Mr. Acosta said to Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads.
Ms. Eads said "I don't have a specific offer" but she said she would be in contact with Mr. Acosta.
Trial confirmation is on December 2; jury trial on December 14.
