Trial confirmation scheduled for murder suspect Hugo Aguirre today was continued to November 2. Jury trial was rescheduled to November 30.
Judge Kaleb Cockrum is disqualified from the case since he previously represented Aguirre. It is set in front of Judge Wilson. Defense said there will "likely be a motion to continue."
Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell is Aguirre's attorney.
Aguirre is charged with attempted murder of HCSO Deputy Rosalie Freixas; attempted murder of Carol Fuentes; false imprisonment of Courtney Schlapicohl and assault with a firearm on HCSO Sgt. Greg Musson.
