Thanks to a Humboldt County jury this career criminal Wayne Graham is finally held accountable. You can read the verdict for each count and special allegation yourself. After verdicts were reached on counts, a juror was excused for hardship and an alternate juror was selected to replace and complete deliberations on findings. Graham was not convicted on all charges and special allegations.
Motions in limine started early December; the trial started on 12/11 and concluded on 12/18 with a guilty verdict for Graham. On 12/15 defense motion for mistrial was denied. On December 18, Graham refused to wear trial clothes to court. The jury was given instruction about his appearance. Later that day, after the verdict, Graham's status was changed to no bail. Sentencing on 1/17/24.
Another successful prosecution by Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees. Graham's attorney is Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin. Judge Kaleb Cockrum presided over the trial.

3/6/24. Marsden motion scheduled for the same day.
3/6/24: Marsden motion denied by Judge Kaleb Cockrum. Sentenced to 7 years, 4 months in prison.
