Convicted rapist resolves second sex offense involving a minor for 10 years in prison

 

At trial confirmation today, convicted rapist Timothy Roberts resolved his second case involving sex offenses with a minor before jury trial. 

Roberts pleaded guilty to Count 1 PC 288 (b) (1) lewd act with a minor child by force or fear for a stipulated term of 10 years. The rest of the counts and special allegations were dismissed. Roberts is required to register as a sex offender for lifetime.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Roberts' attorney. Sentencing is scheduled for 1/18/24. 

1/18/24: Roberts was sentenced as stipulated.
