Kreis endorsements include his boo, his co-defendant, his lawyer, his PD buddies, Rex, Billy and HCSO deputies accused of excessive force

I am not going to list every endorsement that Judge Gregory Kreis has on his website. There are a few names such as Judge Kelly Neel, Deputy District Attorneys Trent Timm and Whitney Timm who I have different opinions about than those listed below and who I have consistently called out. I know why Judge Neel has her name on the list but I am extremy disappointed to see Deputy District Attorneys Trent Timm and Whitney Timm's name as endorsers. These names have nothing to do with Kreis being the more qualified candidate and we are just going to have to disagree. I have been respectful and not shared why I think their names are on the list and hopefully they will return the gesture. So far our interactions have been cordial and professional and hopefully that will not change after this post.

What is noteworthy is that three of the current judges and one commissioner are not on his list of judges and many former judges chose not to endorse him. Elaine Sams was the court reporter consistently assigned to Kreis' courtroom. I am very disappointed to see court reporter Lori Pires Rock name on his endorsement list. She used to be assigned to Retired Judge Marilyn Miles' courtroom. To now put her name endorsing Kreis is an insult to the decent judges we have. Retired Judge John Feeney who consistently hands out rulings that make anyone in law and order frustrated and almost let a sexually violent predator out on the streets and only backed off because of community outrage and consistent coverage on this blog.

From law enforcement, you practically have several names from the Mendes family Alan, Travis and Brittany; HCSO Alan Mendes and Conan Moore, are both deputies who were named in excessive force lawsuits, former EPD and now HCSO bailiff Tim Jones and HCSO Deputy Josh Comer whose ranks have risen are favored by Kreis; his co-defendant Luke Brownfield, former DA and now criminal defense attorney Paul Gallegos and family law attorney Joan Gallegos, his public defender sycophants and buddies, Deputy Public Defender Adrian Kamada's wife Amy Hunt, his lawyer Patrik Griego, his boo Tanya Ellis, Sheriff William Honsal and Rex Bohn.

I have listed numerous reasons with court records, documents, the Commission on Judicial Performance investigation and a current lawsuit with serious allegations. Kreis and Wilson gave Ray Christie a backroom deal with no notice to the media and public and a slap on the wrist. Ray Christie swore up and down that he would never take a plea and yet did the opposite. That case isn't over with the plea so stay tuned for Christie to re-emerge and exact revenge. He has been saying this for a while and again when I saw him recently. Until something is filed it is just talk, so stay tuned.

Judge Wilson who was also admonished by the CJP. Kreis isn't the only one at the courthouse with inappropriate relationships with court employees or co-workers. Those who this comment is directed at know who they are.

If most of his endorsements aren't a turnoff, listed below are just some of the hundreds of posts why Kreis should not be re-elected. I don't have the time to go through every single one of his endorsements to give examples. You are free to research public records and court cases and investigate conflicts of interests.

People showing up at his rally means nothing. He is the current Presiding Judge. He controls the paycheck and fate of many. If the other local media suddenly covers this rally when they have ignored his lawsuit or done minimal coverage as well as ignored the Joe Hale and other scandals while Kreis has been "presiding" or not covered any of this at at all, pay attention to where Kreis' ad shows up during election season.

If Ms. April Van Dyke wants to win this election, she will have to go out and campaign and talk directly to the voters and ignore the anon or non attacks and distractions by the usual good ole boys and gals who also own and control most of the local media on the left and the right and are full of ads from people who benefit from Kreis maintaining the status quo. Kreis is the only judge who released a grand jury report in the middle of an election that benefitted Rex et al's agenda last election. And Rex endorses Kreis? Will Trevor Bohn's DUI be swept under the rug?

Ms. Van Dyke has an uphill battle and whether she wins or not, atleast she had the guts to challenge Kreis unlike others who chose to sit it out while privately decrying and agreeing with everything I say with my name and openly on this blog.

I have heard from people who are not voting for Kreis and others who have changed their minds about him. I have received feedback regularly about my coverage and more recently this week from unexpected sources complimenting me on my coverage. This early it is too hard to tell the impact on the Kreis and Van Dyke race but it shows people are paying attention.

Since the local courts, the CA Judicial Council and the Commission on Judicial Performance have failed the people, the only option they have is to vote. Kreis and his enablers are walking around like this election is a slam dunk.

Just Kreis saying at his re-election campaign that the lawsuit has been settled is not enough. Isn't it convenient that he gets to announce it when it suits him at a campaign event? I checked on the case this Monday and there is a case management conference in court on 12/20/23 in e court. His jury trial is still listed on 1/8/24. It is something that could have easily been verified. LOCO, as usual, was too lazy to verify anything and their LOCO elections is a joke where people basically submit a question, and are anonymous without complete names so they could be anyone, including supporters of an opponent.

Let's see what Kalin's lawyers say. I contacted them and they actually know who I am because unlike LOCO, I did not contact them for the first time yestetday. Kalin also forwarded my inquiry to his lawyers. I checked and there is no filing regarding any settlement in e court and dates remain. Anything can be updated in e court after my post.

So Kreis to score points at a campaign just threw this out there. If the settlement had been filed, the lawyers could at least confirm that without revealing details depending on the terms of the agreement. Kreis can turn on the charm when he wants but any politician will in election season.

A settlement would be no surprise and is no surprise, I said that to many people before Kreis' announcement. Most civil suits settle and then are dismissed. That doesn't mean the original claim had no validity.

Kalin's motivation like anyone filing a civil lawsuit is never selfless; both sides risked going to trial. With a settlement, we never would see or hear about the doctor's report about Kalin's injuries , we dont get to see Tanya Ellis' deposition and no more paperwork filed embarassing Kreis and his Humboldt Superior Court buddies. Rory should take the money because as I asked from the beginning, will Kalin get a fair trial in Humboldt County?

If the insurance companies wanted to settle which is what Kreis claims, we don't know, if that is the case, the doctors' reports didn't go the way Kreis, his lawyer and his buddies wanted.

If there is a settlement, it could impact CJP and what they release or do. Search California corruption and courts on my blog. The Supreme Court ethics scandal and national headlines have shown people justice is indeed blind; you just have to have money.

If Kreis is innocent of the allegations in the Kalin lawsuit, why not take it to trial and clear his name in public? He was a lawyer before he got appointed as a judge; spinning is literally lawyer DNA. That is why they are called opening statements and closing arguments and are not the evidence portion in a trial.

The lawsuit isn't the only mark against Kreis. Court records, apellate rulings and testimony from people who appeared before him and court records from some of those people cannot be dismissed.

Did Thad cover this event? His Public Defender buddies are endorsing Kreis and his once in a blue moon court coverage always seem to be PD related.

LOCO is so predictable, they show up for the announcement literally in front of their office but have hardly covered Kreis or his lawsuit. No video or photo of the crowd, how convenient. The comments aren't going well for Kreis, only one of minions have shown up. I am familiar with some of the commenters because the identity of every LOCO commenter is not anon. Some people read more than one media source which includes mine.

The good ole entrenched powers which includes certain law enforcement, certain media, certain lawyers, cerain government employees, certain politicians and all the parasitic and weak leeches who profit from them have followed the same playbook for decades in Humboldt, I expect the smear tactics and other dirty tactics will continue and escalate, especially during election season. Some are bold enough to post under their own name. That arrogance comes when you know the good ole boys wiill make sure to go after anyone who tries to hold you accountable.

The attacks won't just be on Ms. Van Dyke, they will be on anyone who stands in the way of the entrenched status quo and them retaining power. They will be from people who I have said no to because I don't let anyone control my reporting and use me.

Anon or non anons with agenda have put out lies, misinformation about me in past elections to silence me, they have gone after my advertisers, retaliated against me in a cowardly backstabbing manner.

While I could address the anon comments about me, they are unsubstantiated opinions by faceless cowards and even those who use their names all have an agenda, a reason and just spew unsubstantiated opinions. I am busy enough and it is too consuming to keep posting evidence for the same losers who are mad at being exposed. That is what they want; to distract, delay and impede and frustrate me, Ms. Van Dyke or others into giving up.

I prefer to spend my time bringing you information and doing reporting that is not beholden to anyone. I dont need to prove anything to a minority of losers and people who use their money, their influence, their local connections to bully and attack. If they could win fair and square, they wouldn't resort to the same pathetic behavior. I walk all over town and I get positive feedback from more people. Some may not say it openly yet and I understand why. To me what matters is they listen, they trust and they are wise to the derractors.

I want to keep an open mind about Jeana McClendon but already her husband's business George's Glass is advertising on LOCO, who as usual, was hours and days in reporting what the rest of us have already covered. I was hoping she wouldn't be one of the good ole boy candidates like the other two in the Second District.
