You can believe the slick answers or check court records yourself on Kreis' lack of recusals and how many attorneys have disqualified him on cases

 

I am not going to list or link every post where Judge Gregory Kreis was disqualified or recused himself. This is just one post. You can check the Sotolongo and Michael Valls Ryan Tanner cases mentioned in this one post. 

This is another post with Deputy Conflict Counsel Zach Curtis, a private attorney and a former prosecutor disqualifying Kreis on Jesse Beer's case.

As presiding Judge, Kreis has control and influence over paper files and e court and what the media and public can see. E court can be updated, restricted with the touch of a button and searches can be done easily by court tech. He could have given an approximate number of cases he has been disqualified from or asked to be recused from. You think court tech and Humboldt Superior court admin would deny Kreis' request?

This whole thing on LOCO elections about him not presiding over cases because Luke Brownfield is the Public Defender didn't preclude Kreis from hearing the Ray Christie case and important motions involving Deputy Public Defender Adrian Kamada. Notice his anwers on LOCO elections do not give any timing about when he sought guidance about ethics from the California Judges Association. Was this after he was called and exposed for his arrogant behavior?

Was Kreis thinking of judicial ethics when he was cavorting with public defenders on a boat as a judge and being involved with a woman who is his subordinate and an employee of Humboldt Superior Court? 

Kreis' answer gives deja vu of First District Supervisor Rex Bohn's comment that he has no conflicts when it comes to his son Trevor Bohn's business. Kreis' answers are more polished and clearly crafted like any lawyer choosing what words to say.

LOCO elections allows no follow up or comment. I am not sure how many people are reading those answers but do you trust LOCO's Johnny come lately election tool at election season when election ads are big revenue and a site that has ignored coverage of the Joe Hale scandal, Kreis' lawsuit or court records. The same sloppy "reporting" that didnt even verify that a settlement was not finalized and just quoted Kreis from his campaign event.

When it comes to election, meet a candidate in person and fact check their answers yourself. If you want the facts and if you want the give the challengers to good ole boy incumbents Kreis, Rex Bohn and Michelle Bushnell, a fair chance, then you need to read multiple sources including mine. Unlike the good ole boy incumbents who dont even send me press releases; the other challengers treat all media fairly.
