Ryan Michael Helmer was arrested yesterday by Fortuna Police Department on a warrant for PC 503 embezzlement and PC 487(a) grand theft. He posted bond.
A google search and Facebook search for Ryan Helmer in Fortuna and Humboldt results Fortuna adresses and a Linkedin profile and several Facebook pages. While they all list Fortuna, some photos are not clear enough to compare to each other and the booking photo. Dates these photos were taken are different so it is difficult to say whether this is the same guy or not. If there is a complaint filed, when I have time this week after checking on court cases and depending on computer access, I will update this post.
