Former Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta is now at the Contra Costa County DA's office.
This means more pressure on the prosecutors left in the office, especially Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm and Deputy DA Emily Norgaard but at least the victims in those cases will get good prosecutors.
Considering many of cases she covered, this is a loss for the women in the community seeking justice. Especially, if any of those cases are assigned to Deputy DA Candace Myers or Jessica Watson.
