Receipt of Dr. Wilson's report for Wayne Graham was continued to May 18. Dr. Wilson found Graham competent. His attorney, Mr. Russ Clanton, argued otherwise and once again requested a continuance. Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler objected.
Graham has 37 cases in the system and was found guilty of assault on his recent case. Since Mr. Clanton has taken over his case, there has been delay after delay of Graham's sentencing. It is the same for the last few hearings so until the sentencing issue is resolved, I am not going to provide an update on this case.
Since I have covered court, Mr. Clanton is great at delaying the inevitable and it makes no difference in the final outcome. Kailan Meserve, Timothy Littlefield, Michael Franco are only some examples.
