"At this time, it does not appear that Jlyn or her sister were the victims of a crime. "

The City of Rio Dell provided this update to the press release about the missing 14 year old.

"On  May  27,  2020,  shortly  after  noon,  Sergeant  John  Beauchaine  located  Jlyn  Roybal  at  a  residence  in  Scotia.  At  this  time,  it  does  not  appear  that  Jlyn  or  her  sister  were  the  victims  of  a  crime. "



"The  Department  no  longer has  any  interest  in  contacting  the  alleged  suspect  or  in  locating  the  vehicle  described.  The  Police  Department appreciates  the  support  of  the  media  and  members  of  the  public  during  this  investigation. "
