First, the PG & E blackouts, then COVID 19. Our local businesses, especially the restaurants need our support

Breakfast was my first choice now that some places offer dine in. I chose Kristina's. One big reason is because of their cleanliness and this was before the COVID 19 pandemic.

Had my mask on before I entered. Used hand sanitizer as soon as I entered, even though I had just washed my hands. I washed my hands and frequently before coronavirus.

My server greeted me with a mask. I did not walk in and go sit down anywhere I wanted. Even though it was early afternoon, the place only had one other customer. That was strange because I am used to seeing the place busy. Signs were on the counter and table with COVID 19 protocols.

I only removed my mask to eat and after I got my coffee and food. I put it on when my server was around. Might as well get used to the new dining experience. My coffee and water was not to go but this is the new norm. I only requested pepper which I got in an individual container. My server and I had minimum interaction. Before we would have socialized while I ate.

I don't go out to eat often but I plan to support certain local restaurants. Good food and pleasant service. To go, curbside isn't the same. Just the few minutes I was there gave me a sense of normalcy.

Some people have told me they will wait before dining out. Others said they are glad to support their favorite eateries. While I enjoyed the peace and quiet today, I hope more people support the restaurants that are open. First, the PG & E blackouts, then COVID 19. Our local businesses, especially the restaurants need our support.
