CDC admits there is much to learn about COVID 19 and updates website about how it is transmitted

We don't really know how and where it started. We admit there is a lot to learn about this new virus. Our modeling did not pan out. But, let's put the world on lockdown, take away people's ability to earn income, cause them to spend unneccessary money on things they may not need to sanitize and disinfect and make them spend more money to reopen their business. By the way, taxes are still due. That is what happens when arrogant politicians and health officials are allowed to abuse power and not questioned. Is the CDC good enough for the lemmings who think no one should question the government?

"There is much to learn about the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Based on what is currently known about COVID-19, spread from person-to-person of this virus happens most frequently among close contacts (within about 6 feet). This type of transmission occurs via respiratory droplets. On the other hand, transmission of novel coronavirus to persons from surfaces contaminated with the virus has not been documented."

"COVID-19 is a new disease and we are still learning about how it spreads. It may be possible for COVID-19 to spread in other ways, but these are not thought to be the main ways the virus spreads."

"The virus that causes COVID-19 is spreading very easily and sustainably between people. Information from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic suggest that this virus is spreading more efficiently than influenza, but not as efficiently as measles, which is highly contagious."
