Defense requests documents from VA relating to "Dirty Dave"
995 motion as well as motion to compel was scheduled for vehicular manslaughter and DUI suspect Gary Cudney this morning. Cudney is charged with the death of Dwight Davis aka "Dirty Dave.
Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward is the prosecutor for this case. Mr. Manny Daskal is Cudney's attorney.
The motion to compel was withdrawn by the defense. An order was requested by defense to ask the VA to provide documents relating to Davis. There was no objection from the People and the order was signed by Judge Kaleb Cockrum.
The People requested additional time to respond to the 995. There was no objection by the defense. The 995 motion was continued to September 17.

Really , Dave's health is not on trial here . This drunken slime bag killed a human being and is sliding by with only being charged with vech. Manslaughter when he should be charged with murder because it was not his first offence driving drunk. A woman in shasta county was charged and convicted of murder when she hit and killed a woman while under the influence so why can't this low life be charged with murder! Its null that they are trying to put some kind of blame on Dave,Dave was the victim. Period
