McCloskey sends notice to "Team Humboldt" to sue them for wrongful arrest, defamation, retaliation and police misconduct

On the agenda for the September 27 meeting is a January 18, 2022 letter from Allen McCloskey which is a notice of intent to pursuse civil litigation againsy HCSO and DHHS.

In December 30, 2021, I reported on a statement that Allen McCloskey sent me a statement which was addressed to Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal. There were several parties cced including the California Attorney General, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Trinidad Rancheria, Health and Human Services and McCloskey's counsel.

In October 2021, I reported about McCloskey's arrest by HCSO on N. Westhaven for  PC 496(A) receiving stolen property, PC 30305 (a) possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, PC29800(A) felon in possession of a firearm and PC496D(A).

I checked for several weeks and months after the arrest and McCloskey was never charged by the DA.
