Alleged pimp and convicted felon Javier Ruiz-Keyes' jury trial for his May 2022 HCDTF arrest was supposed to start on September 6. The People had indicated at trial assignment they intended to dismiss and refile a 2022 case. They did on 9/6. Keyes was ordered release only on this case.

He has two other 2022 cases.  The one where he was held to answer on pimping and pandering charges has arraignment on 9/12. Preliminary hearing on another 2022 case on 9/21.

This afternoon he is on for arraignment on a new 2022 case resulting from May 2022. Charges are HS 11370.1 (a) possession of a controlled substance while being armed, HS 11352 (b) transportation of a controlled substance and PC 12022 (c) being armed with a firearm in the commission of a felony.
