The court administration has not said anything about Hale since my first post but I can tell you that former court mediator Joe Hale who was arrested for PC 647(j) (2) criminal invasion of privacy is no longer employed with Humboldt Superior Court. A new mediator, Velda Gooden is handling cases.
I hear daily from people in the system how pleased they are, especially woman that "creepy Joe" is gone. Hale told one party he did not have to follow Judge's orders which including forcing a woman to have contact with her sigbificant other despite a court restraining order.
As for why the investigation maybe taking so long, it maybe due to the volume of complaints. Several in the community thank the DA's office for looking into the many complaints filed against Hale which they said were ignored by the local court.
Hale previously worked for CWS. I broke the news about his arrest and I previously and exclusively reported on September 13 that photographs are involved.
There are many people who feel what Valentino said. He just has the courage to speak up.
