Jury trial for Daniella Moore could take longer than two months due to extra witnesses and other issues

 


Murder suspect Daniella Moore's case was on for trial setting this morning.

District Attorney Maggie Fleming appeared for the People. Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Moore's attorney.

Ms. Fleming told Judge Kelly Neel that she had discussed witnesses and scheduling withMr.Russo. "There are some issues with extra witnesses," said Ms. Fleming. 

Mr. Russo said that the jury trial "may take longer than the previous time estimate of two months." Judge Neel said that time estimate could be adjusted at trial confirmation which is scheduled for December 14. Jury trial was set to start on February 27 which was a date suggested by both parties.
