Local attorney Michael Acosta is representing an elderly property owner and speaking right now about double billing and collusion. You can watch it live or the video later.
Acosta is currently facing criminal charges. After neighbors allegedly complained to First District Supervisor Rex Bohn, Acosta was arrested by Rex's buddy and HCDTF's Matt Tomlin. Rex did not waste time asking Building and Planning Director John Ford questions once Acosta finished this afternoon.
Rex cannot stand Acosta, especially since the younger McBeth boys hang out with Acosta. I have personally seen them together in court and out in the community. The older McBeth's are more of Rex's good ole boy buddies.
Acosta told me that one of the young McBeths told him, "even though he writes about my family, I like his blog."
