In a 6-3 ruling yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that California cannot enforce some of the COVID 19 restrictions on church services.
The court ruling was in two cases; one by South Bay United Pentecostal Church and another by Harvest Rock Church.
California cannot ban indoor worship, but it can cap indoor services at 25 percent. California can enforce the ban on indoor singing and chanting.
I have several previous posts on California COVID 19 restrictions and specifically lawsuits by churches that can be accessed via the search feature on the blog.
