HCSO and EPD are investigating possible explosive device at local attorney Eddie Schrock's office

"The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team is assisting the Eureka Police Department on the 1000 block of 5th Street in Eureka after possible explosive devices were reportedly located at a business," said HCSO PIO Samantha Karges.

"Any further information requests should be directed to EPD," she said.

The business is local attorney Eddie Schrock's office. While I was there around 11:15, law enforcement was talking to a woman with a dog near Rita's on 5th street. Others who have offices in Schrock's building had been evacuated and were standing in the City of Eureka parking lot. They alerted law enforcement because the woman was throwing stuff.

Law enforcement is still on scene at 1:10.
