Trial setting and hearing on three defense motions in Ray Christie's case were continued to October 9 so they could be heard by Judge Christopher Wilson. He is on vacation so the hearing was continued to October 30.
One is a supplemental motion to clarify a discovery motion. The motion to dismiss has to do with double jeopardy. There is another motion to unseal Exhibit 3 of the jury note.
Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward and Deputy DA David Moutrie are prosecutors for the case. Mr. Moutrie was in court today.
Mr. John Cogorno and Mr. Ken Bareilles are Christie's attorneys.
