State bar complaint and civil professional malpractice suit filed against local attorney Andrew Stunich

A state bar complaint has been filed against local attorney Andrew Stunich. The California State Bar does not comment on pending investigations. There has also been a civil professional malpractice lawsuit filed against him. Stunich was served this morning.

In September 2019, Judge Timothy Canning granted Stunich's request petition to expunge his 2017 conviction. On  December 28 2017,  Andrew Stunich pleaded guilty "to violating California Penal Code section 25850(a) - carrying a loaded firearm  in a public place - as a result of his bringing a loaded gun into the courthouse on August 22, 2017."

Stunich was given a private reproval by the CA State Bar for the plea.

Court documents (excerpts):

The rest of the local media ignored the last Andrew Stunich case.
