Convicted human trafficker David Anderson's preliminary to take two full days

Defense's motion to continue convicted human trafficker David Anderson's preliminary hearing was heard this morning. Retired Judge Marilyn Miles granted the motion. There was no objection by the People.

Mr. Michael Acosta made an oral motion yesterday at intervention saying there was a lot of discovery. He took over the case a month ago.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads notified the victim and the family.  She said the bulk of discovery has been provided to the defense. There is prior conduct information still to be provided, "which is not necessary for the prelim."

Preliminary hearing was rescheduled for February 6. Two full days estimate. Both attorneys did not request an intervention.
