Local attorney Andrew Stunich wants to expunge his 2017 conviction


Local attorney Andrew Stunich had a hearing this morning on his petition to expunge his 2017 conviction. You can read more about PC 1203.4 and the criteria to grant the petition below.

Judge Timothy Canning granted Stunich's request.

On  December 28 2017,  Andrew Stunich pleaded guilty "to violating California Penal Code section 25850(a) - carrying a loaded firearm  in a public place - as a result of his bringing a loaded gun into the courthouse on August 22, 2017."

Deputy District Attorney Stephen Pomeroy was in court for the People. Mr. Nathaniel Zwerdling was present for Stunich.
