EPD puts out a BOLO for two armed and dangerous carjacking suspects



On September 27, 2019 at about 11:29 am, officers of the Eureka Police Department responded to a motel at the 2800 block of Broadway for a reported carjacking incident that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, the victim explained that he had just visited a subject at the motel and was sitting in his vehicle, when he was approached by two subjects. One of the subjects brandished a firearm at the victim. In fear for his safety the victim turned over cash and the suspects took his vehicle.

The victim’s vehicle is described as a grey 2016 Toyota Tundra bearing California License number 02198A2. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Broadway.

The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1: WMA, early to mid 30’s, about 6-0”, wearing a black sweatshirt with a colorful, black beanie and grey sweatpants. The suspect had a small patch of whiskers below his bottom lip. He was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2: WMA, early to mid 20’s, about 5-10”, wearing a black baseball cap with a teal brim, a blue hoodie and tan pants.

The public is advised not to attempt to contact or detain these subjects, they are believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding the identity/location of the suspects, the location of the victim’s vehicle, or any other information about this case is urged to contact Officer Altic at 707-441-4060.
