First DA serves him with invalid subpoena, then jail does not release "Chopper"

Before testimony even got started today for Brian Leiteritz's preliminary, there was another issue with "Chopper" aka Terrance Ford.

Yesterday, he was ordered released by Judge Marilyn Miles due to an invalid subpoena served by the DA's office. Ford was ordered to appear at 9:15 today. He was not there but it was not his fault.

Today, at the last minute, Judge Miles was told that Ford had not been released by the jail and was still in custody. No one knew why he was not released.  Something about court minutes was mentioned. The court minutes from yesterday are not in the system. His attorney, Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell called the jail to speak to a supervisor.

Alicia Rose's cross examination resumed after Ford came to court in his regular clothes and  was ordered to appear tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. Judge Miles apologized to Ford even though it was not her fault.

Ford left the courtroom with Ms. O'Connell and before he left, he said,"I am furious."
