"They are trying to break into my house. They just turned my electricity off."

At the end of today, two 911 calls by Brian Leiteritz were played by Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward.

In the first call, in response to the dispatcher asking, "911, what is your emergency?"

Leiteritz responds: ""They are trying to break into my house. They just turned my electricity off."

 He sounds very scared in the 2nd call. Leiteritz admits to hitting someone. He tells dispatch he does not know where the knife is. You hear Leiteritz say he is going to go after them and dispatch tells him not to.

At the end of the second call, dispatch tells him to hang on until deputies get there. You hear Leiteritz say, "get here quick" and then no response while dispatch says, "Brian? Brian? Hello."
