As Alicia Rose testified, Dylon Liakos' family members sobbed hearing details of his injuries

(Rose)

Alicia Rose and Terrance Ford's  versions differ. Their versions matched up until they left 1140 Boss Road the first time.

What testimony will the defense use and will both be impeached or just one?

During cross examination, Mr. Michael Robinson asked Ford if the answers he hgave yesterday were truthful. Mr. Robinson mentioned PC 118 which makes it a crime to give false testimony.

Ford responded "yes" to being a little agitated yesterday; "no" to ingesting controlled substances yesterday. Ford answered "yes" to having a pipe and drugs on him this morning but "no" to using drugs before court.

Reverting to his "Chopper" attitude, Ford added , "I had empty bags. I was doing laundry. Who knows whose it was?"

Ford said he was with Rose "closer to 5 hours between daytime and nightime."Ford said Rose and Liakos did not do drugs that night.

Mr. Robinson asked Ford if he was aware that autopsy results for Liakos showed a toxic level of meth. Ford said he was not aware of this fact.  Mr. Robinson also went over Ford's lengthy criminal history and convictions from 2001 to 2017 which included possession of firearms, possession of narcotics, burglary. Regarding hos convictions, Chopper answered, "probably, I was on drugs." At first he denied being a fugitive in Idaho, then said, "I was absconding from parole in California."

Ford said he was not aware the power had been cut off at Brian Leiteritz' house. He did his usual flip flop today saying he did not remember if Sonia Bitcoin-Zinc was there; then said he was "pretty sure" she was present at Denny's.

Mr. Robinson asked Ford about another person whose voice was heard on the 911 call. Ford said he told Investigator Hicks, "the guy that got clobbered" and "saw one male to the rear of another male and the first male fall to the ground." Ford said Dylon Liakos had a black eye.

Leiteritz was Rose's boyfriend. She lived at the Boss Road residence. Moved out a few times; the last time was July 29, 2019, according to her. She had personal items such as shoes, clothing, make up she wanted to retrieve and communicated with Leiteritz "on numerous occasions" to get them back but had difficulty doing do. On August 9, she wanted her stuff back.

"One day we were friends; one day we were not," said Rose. She had known "Dylon for a few years" and was in a relationship with him at the time the August 9 incident occurred.

Unlike Ford, Rose gave specific times. She met Ford on August 9 at "9a.m./10 a.m."She made two phone calls to Leiteritz regarding coming over to get her stuff. Then we heard irrelevant details about her telling Leiteritz to get her a bagel. At 8:30 p.m. Rose, Ford and Liakos left her grandfather's house in Arcata and arrived at Boss Road at 9:15 p.m.

Rose knocked on the door, rang the doorbell,no response. She texted Leiteritz that his car windows were down and it was raining. Thought Leiteritz was home because his work vehicle was there.

Rose said she did not go to the Shell station. This is where her account differs from Ford's version. She got out of the car. Met up with Bitcoin-Zinc . She didn't know where Ford and Liakos went. Rose said she did not instruct anyone to go back to Boss Road. Bitcoin-Zinc and she went to Dennys. Rose said she thought Ford and Liakos went to get "a can of chew" from the gas station. 30 minutes later, she saw Ford's vehicle. Rose said she had no contact with Ford or Liakos while they were gone and that when she tried reaching Liakos, "no one answered Dylon's phone."

She asked Ford about Liakos. Rose claims Ford said, "Get in the car. Get in the fucking car. Don't worry about it." She and Bitcoin got in the car. Ford drove her to her grandfather's house. She charged her phone.

Rose testified she did not know Liakos was deceased until Ford broke into her grandfather's house later and told her, "Brian killed Dylon. You need to get up. You need to go to the hospital now. He hit him in the head," Liakos' family members sobbed.

Regarding Liakos' black eye, Rose said he got it a week "prior to" August 9. Rose's dramatic versio was that she got into an argument with Leiteritz's ex, Tiffany Devereaux. Leiteritz' s ex did not want Rose staying at the house. Leiteritz' sister was there. Liakos showed up with Rose's cousin to pick her up because Rose called them. Liakos demanded to know where Rose was Leiteritz asked Liakos to leave the house get in the car. Liakos did not. "Brisn headbutted Dylon." Rose said Leiteritz was drinking. The two men got into it and Liakos got the black eye. "Dylon is not a fighter, he is a gentle giant."  According to Rose, Liakos was not aggressive and "prior to this", she said Leiteritz was not violent.

Rose was asked about the restraining order. She went off on an explaination that does not match court records. She claims HCSO and courts told her that the restraining order was invalid.

Despite being told by defense they had her phone records showing 50 to 100 phone calls to Leiteritz, Rose insisted twice she made 5 calls.

Unfortunately, both Rose and Ford will be back on the stand tomorrow.

This is not a jury trial; it is a preliminary hearing. If the defense wants to cross examine for days then either the defense needs to impeach Rose and Ford with actual evidence instead of questions and words or quit wasting time on the daily Chopper and Rose freakshow.

We have yet to hear from law enforcement who might actually have evidence like fingerprints on the knife, Leiteritz's statements and autopsy results that actually contribute to information about probable cause.
