Local attorney Andy Stunich refused entry into Canada because of that loaded firearm in public conviction

On May 23, got a couple of tips that "Andy Stunich took a motorcycle trip to Canada and that the Canadians refused him entry because of his misdemeanor gun offense."

Didn't print it because I needed verification. I was told there was a Facebook post. Today, I received proof.

On  December 28 2017: "Today, attorney Andrew Stunich pled guilty to violating California Penal Code section 25850(a) - carrying a loaded firearm  in a public place - as a result of his bringing a loaded gun into the courthouse on August 22, 2017.  (An alternative misdemeanor charge of possessing a firearm in a public building was dismissed.)  At the time of sentencing DDA Tobias Hasler advised the Court that Mr. Stunich did not possess a permit to carry a concealed firearm.  Visiting Judge Charles Ervin sentenced Mr. Stunich to misdemeanor probation for 18 months.  During that time he must not possess any firearms and will be subject to search and seizure for firearms."

The plea came after months of a case that developed into unnecessary saga. If you did not follow this case last year, links to previous coverage provided below.
